PTFE suture is a non-absorbable monofilament suture that is composed of a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene.  PTFE sutures have little to no memory that allows for excellent handling and knot security. Maxxeus PTFE sutures have a Cobra Black matte finish (no glare). All sutures are packaged 12 units per package.
